Description

The Collio Friulano is the main and most prestigious wine of the company. Born from the union of the Grapes of three vineyards located on the summit and at the foot of the hill that dominates the town of Brazzano. The grapes are collected manually and undergo destemming and a soft pressing. At the must obtained, after a static decantation at a low temperature of 36-48 hours, selected yeasts are grafted for a fermentation at a controlled temperature (14 °c-16 °c). The wine then rests on its own yeasts and are made of the weekly battonages. 15% of this friulian remains in wooden casks. Bottling takes place at the beginning of spring. With a straw-yellow colour, the wine is of great structure, rich, warm and enveloping. It is characterized by slightly spicy and mineral notes, wildflowers and citrus. On the palate is powerful, mineral and progressive with a pleasantly almond finish. It matches with fish, white meats and appetizers. Excellent combination with the Friulian Frico.  It should be served at 12 °C. Contains sulphites
