Description

Valpolicella classico DOC Villa Crine is the witness of tradition and the land. The term Pigaro derives from an ancient word which was originally "el Pi caro" that is the most expensive, Italianized then in narrow surface Pigaro due to its prestigious location. Produced by native varieties Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, harvesting is manual from late September until early October, depending on the year. Destemming and soft pressing in stainless steel tanks in November. Aging in stainless steel for 6 months. Bright purple red colour has a fragrant Bouquet where aromas of cherries and currants, to combine hints of pepper and green notes. In the mouth it is fresh and pleasant. Closing persistent. It goes well with meat and dishes like pasta with meat sauce, ravioli with meat, roasts, grilled meats. Best served at 16-18° C. Contains sulphites
