In the heart of the Friuli Riviera, you will find the ancient village of Modeano, already seat in the Roman period of a rustic villa. The conformation of the territory, the rich and deep soils and the climate mitigated by the proximity of the sea make modest the ideal place to produce wines rich in flavors, aromas and colours. The grapes are gently pressed and left to macerate on the skins for a short period. After the racking the must obtained fermented at a controlled temperature with selected yeasts. Thereafter it matures 6 months in stainless steel tanks and it refines for 1 month in bottle. Indigenous grape variety, represents the Friulian territory more than any other variety. With a straw yellow colour with light greenish reflections, its bouquet is articulated and harmonious. In the mouth is fresh, soft and deep with hints typically of almond. It matches with the Prosciutto di San Daniele. Ideal as an aperitif, suitable for risottos, omelettes and grilled or stewed fish. It should be served at 10-12 °c. Contains sulphites
