The territory is that of the Grave del Friuli: 7500 hectares between the provinces of Udine and Pordenone. The entire plain is made up of alluvial material, coming from the nearby mountains, transported downstream by the Meduna, Cellina and Tagliamento rivers. In addition to having given rise to the Grave soil, the mountains protect the area from the cold winds coming from beyond the Alps. The proximity to the Adriatic Sea contributes to maintaining a climate particularly suitable for growing vines. Furthermore, temperature changes between day and night given by the predominantly stony matrix of the soil allow us to obtain grapes with a good supply of aromas and also fragrant wines.
