Syrah is an international grape growing in several territories of the world, well known for its spicy notes, now elegantly expressed by Paladin. Obtained exclusively from Syrah grapes, the grapes are vinified at an average temperature of 25 ° C, while the maceration lasts for about 15 days. It then matures in 3/4 passage wooden barriques to obtain a slow oxygenation from the wood in order to ripen the original tannins, without extracting them from the wood, thus giving the wine softness. Intense ruby red colour with purple reflexes, At first very intense and complex flavour , then there’s a succession of fruit jam and spicy flavours coming together to create a great balance.
Thanks to the ripening and the natural concentration Syrah Paladin is a wine of great structure and harmony. Soft but intense, shows a perfect balance, between its sweet and acid components and the tannins; it smells of fruit jam and spices with an aftertaste of red fruits with a long pleasant finish. Perfect sipped alone as an aperitif or after a meal, it is an ideal match for boiled meat or roasted meat and poultry. Wonderful with platters of medium aged cheese and cured meats. Serve at 16°C.
