The Rigo is a Montepulciano at 100%. The harvest is made by hand at the end of October, then performs the classic red vinification with replacements, cold maceration, fermentation with daily deléstage, switch to aging in barriques for 18 months with swing Malolactic fermentation in wood. Finally it is aged in bottle for at least 10 months. Intense ruby colour, dense, almost impenetrable, the nose reveals aromas of violets, cherry, black cherry, ripe blueberries with hints of vanilla. The taste is rich, fruity, intense, elegant and enveloping tannins. It accompanies salami and cheeses, first red dishes. Ideal for roast meats. Best served at 18-20° C. Contains sulphites
