It is a dark and full-bodied beer with a delicate toasted aroma. It has the classic Friar's robe color and a fine hazelnut-coloured foam. Despite being a pure malt beer with a high alcohol content, it maintains the characteristic dry and hoppy final. In the mouth is not nauseating, but gently toasted with memories of coffee and chocolate and returns of dried fruit and plum. It combines with very seasoned and tasty cheeses also blue, rich and complex dishes, red meats, lamb, game, liver and offal, foie gras, creamy and cocoa-based sweets, dried fruit and coffee.
