A single-varietal Sauvignon Blanc, the result of a careful clonal selection process. The grape harvest, separated for different clones of the same grape variety of different ages, allows for the creation of harmonic complexity in this product. Aromatic wine profiles derived from different grape harvests are in fact very diversified and compete to create a strong identity. The first will have the task of providing freshness and minerality and the following will seek structure and body. The harvests are carried out during the night. The fermentation of the must takes place very slowly at low temperatures. The wine is then aged for 5 months in steel containers on a bed of fine lees in order to enhance its varietal characteristics and to provide the wine with structure and elegance. Sauvignon Blanc Turranio is distinguished by its pale yellow colour, a typical scent with distinctive hints of melon, peach and pepper leaves, with a dry, decisive and considerably persistent flavour.
It is a wine that is identifiable by its sophistication and the extreme elegance of its hints, supreme balance and typicity. Ideal with herb-based first courses, such as risotto and field herbs or asparagus, hop sprouts, lasagne and crespelle, tortelli with herbs or flowers.
It goes very well with shell fish, well-seasoned cured ham and with some alpine cheese. Try it with vegetarian or vegan dishes such as salad with fennel, tomatoes or peppers or creative salads that combine fruits and vegetables. Contains sulphites
