The Umberto Tomadoni Farm is located in Cormons, Pradis, in the heart of the Collio. It is one of the smallest cellars in Friuli Venezia Giulia. In total of this Friulano are made 500 bottles. The age of vineyards is 25-50 years. The harvest is done in a late manner, with slight drying on the plant, where the noble botrytis is formed (a mold that is formed in the grapes with late harvest that gives the wines very special aromas and flavors). The maceration of the grapes is done cold for 24 hours, then it is refined on the yeasts in cement tanks for 12 months and finally it is bottled. The 24 hours maceration brings the wine to have a more important structure. With a straw Yellow color and Golden reflections, the nose is characterized by almond, thyme, chamomile, apple, dried apricot, honey and a hint of mineral. In the mouth it is soft, but also very powerful. The closure is slightly bitter (bitter almond), very persistent, with a balsamic finish. It goes well with important first courses or medium and long seasoned cheeses. It should be served at 10-12°C. Contains sulphites
